Chromatography Lab Plant Pigment Report

Drawing the Moon in Inviernas

warm afternoon in late May (2009).

I recovered this review to complete with some videos that I was missing. Now in addition to the photos there are more surprises.

I tell a little about how it was this adventure: We arrived at The

Inviernas with little hope as the clouds had us on tenterhooks. Finally cleared the sun set, assemble the team and are dedicated to observe the moon is waxing.

We make pictures and videos, watch the terminator leaves us breathless: Sunrise at the Mare Imbrium .... What beauty! so I decide myself to draw some detail. Ptolemy
also appears from the shadows: the mountains around it are designed as fine needles on the inside of the crater ... the surprising thing about this is that the bottom is clearly visible convex, with a gradient tone and very clear.

I mounted a short video with all what we experienced that afternoon, with photos, videos and drawings I did, the tranquility of our relaxing place ... You can hear the birds singing in the oaks that surrounded us. I accompanied the video with a song that came much for these lunar landscapes: Foreing Landscapes of Gandalf.

The drawing is done with graphite pencil on a pad of white paper. It was an improvisation that had no pencils or a variety of appropriate media. But enjoyed it.
